THE WORSHIP AND MUSIC COMMITTEE

     The ministry at Redeemer includes adults and children. The adult choir sings at the 10:00a.m. worship service Sunday morning September through the Festival of the Holy Trinity in the Spring, providing leadership for the congregation and presents a musical offering for Sunday morning worship.  The children participate in musical worship occassionally by offerring songs and chimes. Rehersal times are as follows: 

       Adult Choir Rehersal: Sunday morning 11:00 A.M.

       Chime Choir and Childrens' Choir Rehersal: Sunday Morning, 9:00 A.M.

     The Music Ministry at Redeemer reflects Martin Luther's statement referring to music as "the handmaid of the Gospel". The Gospel is proclaimed in word through the Scripture readings and sermon, in the liturgy and hymns sung by the congregation and the musical offering presented by the choir and guest soloists.
